I'd consider these to be a little more laid back than Jackbox. Scrawl was fun except for the technical issues, and Can of Squims is best suited to maybe a family gathering or something where everyone kinda knows each other. "Who the hell are you?" The players asked each other lolĪll in all, I expect Herd Mentality would have been fun except for the fact that you need people who are excited to play it and/or know how phones work and are paying attention the whole time. "Who's the better rapper of these two players?" it asked. It pits two players together in a friend-or-foe type of game where they have to agree which player of the two is the better X, Y, or Z. Then the last one, Can of Squirms was a fun game, but ill suited to random people getting to know each other. Mutliple refreshes and force restarting the browser didn't fix it.
FIBBAGE GAME LOBBY FOR ANDROID
I'm thinking it might be because I'm using Firefox for Android with an adblocker enabled.
FIBBAGE GAME LOBBY HOW TO
It didn't ruin the game as I figured out how to work around it, but it was frustrating. I didn't figure out what was happening until two drawings in. I, personally, couldn't see what I was drawing until it was halfway done, then it would all pop up on the screen at once.

Only issues with this one were technical. It's a ton of fun as someone who played entirely too much Drawception can tell you. Someone sees that drawing, they write what they think the prompt was, and that prompt goes to the next person to draw it. If you haven't played Drawception, then i'll describe it as "the telephone game" with drawings between descriptions. Scrawl was fun, but we had a few technical issues. Maybe just let all players nominate one person the "VIP" for the whole game instead of having it change hands every time. They have a timer and when the timer counts on it just. Unfortunately most of the crowd we were playing with had no idea what to do and/or kept getting distracted so multiple rounds went by with points being awarded incorrectly OR not at all. The game isn't "smart" enough to know those are the same answer but a human is. I guess they do this because, for example "Best Superpower" got "Invisibility, "Invisible" and "Being Invisible" in one round.
FIBBAGE GAME LOBBY PLUS
Plus there's no automatic correction, a player has to "correct" all the answers and award points and the Pink Cow at the end of each round depending on if they "feel" the answer was "the same" enough. Kinda slow paced compared to the Jackbox games. Same answers all get a point, anyone who answered with no other player matching gets a "pink cow" which i guess is a handicap but it never seemed to impact our game at all. You simply have to answer a question with the same answer as everyone else.

I think I'd wait to see it on sale rather than pay 25 but I'll keep it around in case they polish it. Nice thing about steam is that if it's a total flop or buggy mess you can always request a refund.ĮDIT: for anyone who wanted to know, it was OK. No reviews yet (looks like it just barely released on Steam?)
